I Hate Aquasana

I am trying to buy a UV filter for my domestic well. We are selling and the water tests came back with coliform present. So unfortunately I have to add this filter to make everyone happy. Gonna end up costing about $750.

So I went to the Aquasana website thinking I could buy one. I have the part number. I know the cost. No problem, right? Problem. It took about ten minutes to find the part, there is no search function. The part was part of a system only. As far as I can tell it is only sold through website bundled wih other filters. Minimum cost $1100. Wrong for me. I already have all the other pieces. I spoke to a sales agent on Friday and it is sold individually. So why can’t I get it off the website? No problem, they have, according to their crappy website, phone hours on Saturday and Sunday. I will call then. Problem. They don’t actually have those adbertis d hours. These people are morons. Did they not get the memo? Sell off the website, it’s the new age thing. Why would you drive me to a live agent? And why wouldn’t you update your hours on the site? I am, right now, in the middle of a call with them. By call I mean on hold which is where the phone system put me. I do not know if I will ever actually get to talk to anyone. I think their bullshit website dovetails with this bullshit phone system. Probably no one there and they don’t care to fix it. Assholes. Unfortunately, I have the sales agents extension and name, the one I spoke to on Friday. I am going to leave her a message, no profanity, about wtf is wrong with her company. That will be fun. Let’s see, website non accessibility and errors, phone system not working, inability to order. That’s probably enough. Oh yeah, 14 mins on hold for who? Anyone there? I will call now while I am still pissed off.

I spent the balance of my day moving crap around. Getting ready for eventual sale and he big move. Don’t know where I am moving too but need to be ready. So I packed up the garage. I also had to sort all that was in the garage to two areas: sell and keep. I moved more from the house to the garage as well. Kept me busy all day. I went nowhere. Emily was at a baby shower all day. I think, for once, I would rather do that. Oh yeah, I cleaned out the barn of all things I want to keep and left all things in the barn as sale items. I can not tell you how much fun it was. I just can’t tell you.

Emily got home about five. She went in to work on report cards. I continued my pack and move till about 530. I went in and suggested we might want to think about dinner. So I went to the freezer and pulled out some chicken to defrost.

We both kept on working on our seperate tasks while he chicken defrosted. Emily made a marinade for the Bors and also a salad. I cranked up the bbq and we managed to eat at about 730.

This has been a very long day and too much hard work. I am sore and tired. Tomorrow I will be in the office all day. Not as physical but still too damn much work. I am looking forward to it.

I am going out to the garage one last time. I have one more thing to move from the sale pile to the keep pile. I think it’s the last item. We can hope.

I am going to bed soon. I am tired to the bone. Not sure I can stay awake to read. Maybe a little. But the book I have is not very good.
