I NEED TO REVIEW MY POSTS MORE OFTEN. THIS WAS UNPUBLISHED. OOPS. TWO WEEKS AGO
Sunday is just another day for unpaid work. With a bigger newspaper. Which I did read with my coffee. And nasty cakes. We have a lot planned today. More work. We spent Saturday cleaning out our garage full of crap. Throw away or store. So I had a trip to storage. I forgot my unit number, yes really, and had to ask the manager. Like forgetting where u live. Storage is now officially full because I put the last in there.
So, Sunday. We made a trip to the store for bins, etc. I filled my car with the last of the storage crap. Like there is any room in storage. We rearranged the back bedroom and moved the bed. Emily moved more shoes from our room to the back room. I rearranged the new plastic shelves purchased yesterday since all the weight we put on them was causing partial collapse. I put a ton of garbage into the cans. Just a normal workday. At least I mowed yesterday and not today. So I am rested up. It was a long day.
We kept at it all damn day. And, we never cleaned house. I put together a flat pack shelf unit, total crap. As always. IKEA is Swedish for Wal mart. At about 6 I opened a bottle of wine. At about 645 I put the bacon wrapped tenderloin in the oven. With the sweet potato.
Food would be ready about 8. In the meantime we drank wine and watched lousy tv. Perfect for Sunday night. Dinner finally cooked we ate. Man was it excellent. Maple syrup on the potato which also leaked to the tenderloin. All very good.
After dinner, back to lousy tv. Oh well. Need a good dessert now. But nothing. Emily ran out of time to make something. Again, oh well.
It’s late. 9pm. And at least the quality ofbtv has improved. Then bed. Maybe some reading. Not to bad a day.
