Snow Day Too

Wednesday morning. Tahoe City. A day like any other day. Except, I am waking in a strange house and going skiing.

We slept in till 730. That was sweet. Buck has no food in the house. That was not. We all got ready very slowly and by all I mean I was ready to go in ten minutes and those two fools took another hour. What the hell do they have to do? We did finally get moving. Since the resort is on the way out of town, we all drove seperate cars. Also, Bob had to leave early. He has a haircut. Really. No appointment required. But he had to get a haircut. Repeated it many times. His hair looks fine. Wonder what the real reason is?

So we went skiing again. On the slopes by 1015. 1015 ??!!!? I said they got ready slowly. We only skied an hour and a half (Bob has a haircut!!) which was fine. I was beat. I skied in a different set of skis that Buck lent me. Much better but I was wiped out from yesterday and could not use them to full advantage esp when I am this tired.

So we went back to the shop, I dropped my equipment (borrowed) off and got packed to leave. Buck is coming down the hill with Bob to pick up his motorhome which was wintering in Sacramento. So I left before them. Headed downhill, no stops except gas were planned. I did decide to get gas in Auburn and to go see trailer guy about the “kitchen box” add on. That would help make the trip more worthwhile.

The trip down was speedy. The boys trailing did not catch up till Auburn. They did not pass by till I turned off. Losers.

I got gas. Then proceeded to get lost in Auburn trying to find the trailer shop. It’s easier than u think. I used navigation eventually. I was a mile away. Easy, I said. Anyhow, shop was closed. Early. Assholes. So I took off. I went to work to get some shit done. It was still early and people still want things done. No rest for the weary.

I had several important things to do. Esp finishing up a tax plan for client Frank. Been working on it for almost two years. I would like to be done with it. We met and I hope got most settled. I hope. I am going to sign off here. My memory of the balance of Wednesday is gone. It is Sunday. So let’s call this episode good. And move on.
