Water. Truck. Sale. Meeting.

I was up at 530 am. I need to get the usual done. And, pull a water sample for testing and drive it to CalTest in Napa for testing. I got up early to miss most of the traffic. Which I did. 29 miles in 50 mins. That’s fast. I did need the early start, I am meeting someone back at my house at 830. And someone else at 9. And then I need to deliver the truck for repairs in the exact opposite direction of Napa. About 35 miles. Then Uber to work. See, a busy morning.

Well all went well with the water sample delivery and return. The way back all traffic was opposite me so I screamed home. Turns out, no rush required. My 830 became 930 and my 9 became ten. These folks must not realize I am in a hurry. I have work to go to.

The estate sale folks showed up and we went through all the crap again. We got that done and they started to set up. About this time my next appointment showed. He is the buyer for my house. He bought my mower and sprayer for $2300. All well and fine but when estate sale guys found out those items dropped out of the sale, they decided to postpone the sale till we could come up with some more items for the sale. I guess they need lots of items in order to make a profit. Oh well. I made profit on the sale already. Good for me.

I left the house for Sacramento at about 1030. I dropped by Tremont to tell Emily that the sale was postponed. She was happy. We were killing ourselves getting ready and now it’s slowed down.

I am in the truck. I am taking it to my truck guy, Jesse. It is a few minor repairs needed before I sell it in the estate sale. Whenever that happens. Jesse has a truck superstore and has been a client for over 25 years. See, some people like me for a long time. He is the best kind of client, he does lots of things which generat a lots of fees and I like him and his entire family.

The office sang a siren soon so I went there next. Jumped right in and did tax returns and the usual crap. I did manage to go to the bank and finally open and fund all three accounts. That only took two weeks. I hate banks. But they are open. I am also trying to get a corporate account open and the bank is having trouble getting that done. They are assholes. Stupid ones.

Back to the office, the bank is disappointing. I did more work till time to head home. Not much excitement, just tax returns. I worked till about 615. Then headed out in Jesse’s Nissan. He loaned me his car to replace the truck while he had it in his shop. Like I said, he is the best kind of client.

Got back to Dixon and headed to the carniceria for Mexican food. Taco Tuesday. It IS Tuesday. Food was awesome as always. Emily and I enjoyed our dinner. Emily suggested going to bed early, because she was tired not anything good. So we went to bed at 8am. I was up at 530 so it seems good. It it’s now 10 and I am still awake.

I am gonna read until I drop off. That usually works.
