Title is a new sitcom. I don’t think anyone will watch.
I had three ginger snaps for breakfast, the ones I made for dessert the last time Marika visited. That was Sunday I think. They are really good and make a fine and substantial breakfast. I recommend them.
That is my cookie jar, shaped like a teardrop trailer. Very cool. That would have been cookie number four but I have some restraint. Not much.
A good breakfast is how you start a great day. I have an incoming call at 8am fronthe IRS. The auditor, whom I have never met, has an attitude. A few auditors have an “I’m from the IRS and I can do anything I want” attitude. Over the last 25 years I have seen a few. This gal is one. Judy Lee from the Bellevue, WA office. First time I spoke to her she had an attitude. So I know that’s not me. She is the same way with the client, whom she has also spoken to. I don’t like her, she is not very good at her job and I’m sure loses a lot of audits. When you have an attitude the accountants and lawyers double down and want to kick your ass. I do. One more thing, my client has a deadline of 1/31 to deliver paperwork. On 1/20 her 24 year old nephew died. The auditor, Judy Lee, would not grant an extension. She said,”she had time and she should have done it earlier”. What a heartless bitch.
Btw I was on the third floor where the computer is. And I noted while I was sitting there that my dog Jaxon had pooped all over. I hate that dog.
Well, on that sunny note I got ready for my day. I took the IRS call while in my robe. Good enough for them. Too good. Went to shower and shave. It’s a good part of the day. I took my time.
Went downstairs. On my way out the door I see Latte left me her gift. I hate that dog.
One pees and one poops. Inappropriately. I hate dogs.
I did manage to get to work. Finally. I did have a really great email from First Northern in my inbox when I arrived. They decided to not open my entity accounts. The four LLC and one Corp account. These assholes were so nice as to allow me to keep all the accounts I have had the last 20 years. God I hate banks. Now I have to find another bank to go to. I have a couple possibilities for tomorrow. I hope they work.
While sitting at my desk, hating all banks and bankers, I still managed to get work done. I know it sounds like a broken record, but it was emails, calls, letters to the damn IRS, a client visit, visit by a friend. The usual. Got to love work. I don’t. Not much else to the day. Normal crap.
Went home at about 6. Quick drive without any problems. As it should be. We managed to throw together a dinner. Chopped salad with sautéed chicken. And a couple leftover ribs. Very good considering it’s unplanned nature.
We are watching TV. Good TV. For a change. Bedtime is twenty minutes away. And I am ready.
